General Learning Objectives

The learning objectives of the module are: Get knowledge of the International framework of emergency preparedness (IHR, Global Health Security, Sendai framework…); understand the cycle of emergency preparedness, including planning, plans elaboration, continuous training and evaluation; understand how to perform risk mapping and capacities evaluation; understand the role of the public health sector in the development of generic preparedness plans and its interaction with the other sectors, including links with the national CBRN action plans; understand the different types of Simulation Exercises (SE); understand the process of improving preparedness plans (testing, evaluation, procedures improvement).
