This five-day training module is addressed to fellows and mid-career epidemiologists from the MediPIET participating countries to understand the principles and process of threats caused by Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear agents to the human health.

Practical information on the module – READ THIS 

The main objectives are:

– To get understanding of the nature of emergencies caused by chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incidents

– Build awareness for early recognition of events caused by deliberate or accidental release of chemical and biological substances

– Acquire knowledge and skills of taking clinical and environmental samples of critical substances and of their appropriate transportation following international standards

– To get knowledge of IHR role in detecting and reporting of a chemical or a biological incidents
