by the fellow of the 2nd Cohort Majd Saleh.
|Location||London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), UK|

|Description||For the last six years, Lebanon has welcomed around 1.5 million refugees fleeing war-torn Syria. Despite the efforts of the government, the international community and civil society to mitigate the impact of the Syrian crisis on Lebanon and the large-scale response underway, the needs of the affected population, both displaced and host communities, are outpacing the Government of Lebanon and is partners’ ability to provide adequate services and coping strategies are being tested.
This International Assignment aims to enable the applicant to locate, assess, synthesise, present and use research-based information on the Lebanon public health response to the crisis in Syria to inform further public health policy.
